Gradiergarten

The “Gradier”house is one part of the complex of the Keltenbad. Both buildings and its equipment belong to the Soleheilbad Kurverwaltungsgeselschaft Bad Salzungen. Within the “Gradier”house you can choose between five different inhalation rooms with a brine concentration of 1%, 4%, 6%, 10% and 15% as well as two “Gradier” walls which are a conductor of sole with 18% to 20% effect a soothing and healing for the patients and guests. 20 single inhalation facilities equipped with the most modern medicine technique are available for patients. A treatment is possible all year long. The brine movement bath with a total water temperature between 23 degrees and 34 degrees Celsius invites you to a relaxing stay. Different attractions such as bubble lies, massage nozzles, a water grotto, a movement channel, shower cannons as well as counter current arrangement are at the guests’ disposal. The main pool with a maximum extension of 25m has a brine concentration of 2%, a second pool with a 6m diameter awaits its guests with a concentration of 15%. Here you can experience what laying weightless on the water and relaxing with music means. For people who enjoy sun there is a terrace with lots of plants – the Dead Sea in Bad Salzungen. Apart from children’s pools, solarium and entries to the swimming bath and to the other pools suitable for handicapped there is also a bistro. A special attraction is the sauna area in the Celtic style, which attracts the visitors to a mystic world with natural building material, and Celtic symbols.
